This release is part of IAMMETER’s ongoing work to address the cybersecurity requirements applicable to internet-connected radio equipment under EN 18031-1:2024. Compliance and certification status for individual models will be announced separately when formally available.

- Request a one-time recovery challenge from the device.
- Sign in to the IAMMETER Contributor system with your IAMMETER Cloud account.
- Submit the payload; the service verifies the device association.
- Receive a cryptographic Ed25519 signature.
- Send the signed request to the meter’s local IP address.
- After verification, Admin Security is disabled so new credentials can be configured.
The payload is bound to the serial number, MAC address and one-time nonce. The firmware contains only the public verification key; the service signs the challenge and does not connect to the meter directly.

ทดสอบ Swagger API ด้วย Basic Auth
เครื่องมือในเบราว์เซอร์เรียก API ที่ป้องกันด้วย HTTP Basic Authentication ได้ และ CORS อนุญาตเฮดเดอร์ Authorization แล้ว
- a browser that can reach the meter’s local IP
- valid Basic Auth credentials
- an API operation supported by the firmware
The request path is direct:
Browser → loads Swagger UI from iammeter.github.io
Browser → sends an authenticated request directly to the meter’s local IP
The Swagger website is not a server that connects to the meter. The browser must reach the device on the local network; protected requests still require Basic Auth.

Basic Auth remains required, existing OTA checks stay in place, and TLS and recovery-signature behavior are unchanged. Check the model on IAMMETER Firmware Updates.
